La Palma presente por primera vez en la Semana de la Moda de Madrid a través de Isla Bonita Moda

January 30th. Isla Bonita Moda has inaugurated this morning a new Pop Up Store located in the Moda Shopping mall in Madrid (Avda General Perón 38) through a promotion and marketing action of the sector promoted by the Ministry of Economic Promotion, Commerce and Employment of the Island Council of La Palma and supported by the Association of Fashion Creators of Spain.

 

The designs of new firms from La Palma will be marketed from today until next Wednesday, February 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

This action, framed in the official agenda of Madrid Es Moda , coincides with the celebration of the renowned Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week catwalk in Madrid and aims to bring creativity, avant-garde and design closer to the most relevant firms in our country.

 

During these dates attendees will be able to discover and purchase products made by La Palma firms: Paloma Suárez, Paniculata, Jesús Gutiérrez, Pomeline, Waleska Morín, Bordeaux by Eloísa Pascual, Patricia Aelbrecht, Diazar and D`Andrea Tocados at special prices.

 

The Minister of Economic Promotion of the Cabildo de La Palma, Raquel Díaz, assures that «it is the first time that firms can participate in an action of this magnitude, forming part of the official agenda of a consolidated national event that promotes the commercialization and promotion of Spanish design. These types of strategies allow us to position and market the wide range of products designed and made by the firms that are members of Isla Bonita Moda, ranging from designer jewelry, headdresses and accessories, ready-to-wear and commercial garments to footwear made through totally artisanal and sustainable techniques”.

 

At the same time, and in order to make the most of this opportunity, the counselor explains that «a full schedule of meetings has been designed to connect designers with potential fashion distributors in Madrid, so that they can exchange impressions and study new formulas of business that allow us to create points of sale in the capital, something that we consider vital”.

 

 

 

 

In addition, the firms from Isla Bonita Moda will visit the ETMad Fabric Fair on February 5, 6 and 7. An exhibition specialized in offering direct contact with large suppliers of fabrics and trimmings adapted to current trends and which will allow professionals to find raw materials that match their capacity and creative talent to shape new creations.
